Pres. Sukarno and Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev signed an agreement for a Soviet credit of $250 million.  1

After dissolving Parliament on March 5, Sukarno named a 261-person “mutual help” parliament and promised parliamentary elections in 1962 if conditions permitted.  2
