Sheik Muhammad Abdullah, the “Lion of Kashmir” (again in detention since April 1958), was released from prison. Upon his release, he denounced the Indian policy toward Kashmir, but on April 29 arrived in Delhi to discuss the future of Kashmir with Nehru.  1
