Following such amendments, king, family, and ministers fled to St. Germain and troops concentrated around Paris. The Parlement took action to maintain supply lines in and out of city. Ineffective siege ensued and government ordered elections of estate general. The Parisian blockage sought to bring Parlement into line.  1

Treaty of Rueil between Parlement and the government. Parlement went to St. Germain until a lit de justice declared the treaty.  2
