Flavius JULIANUS, “the Apostate,” (b. 332) attempted to organize a non-Christian, polytheistic church (See Christians and Pagans). He defeated the Persians but died on his way back from an attack on Ctesiphon (363, July 26). With him ended the line of Constantine.  2
