The Aaland Islands convention signed at Geneva. It provided for the neutralization and nonfortification of the group.  1

The former king Charles arrived in the Burgenland by airplane and began a march on Budapest (See Oct. 21). Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia mobilized, and the Hungarians, unable to face another war, did not dare restore the Habsburg king.  2
